Paul Capper Funeral Directors in Bassett delivered a talk to staff from Southampton General Hospital, as part of Dying Matters Awareness Week in May.
Organised by the Southampton Hospital Charity, Phillip Hutchings, Area Development Manager for Hampshire, led the conversation – dispelling myths of the funeral industry and outlining what the role of a funeral director entails.
He said “We focused the talk on how planning for a funeral can make a real difference in times of bereavement, with the aim to help hospital staff enhance the service of care they provide to their patients.”
The informal seminar was attended by five hospital staff, all of whom asked plenty of questions which the team at Paul Capper were very happy to answer.
